Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehab program that is meant to handle substance abuse disorders and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehabilitation participates in various rehabilitation services and techniques during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
