Criminal justice clients are a large percentage of clientele who are currently taking part in drug and alcohol treatment facilities in Lorenzo and in the USA. Judges in the country are finding it more helpful to treat individuals who have wound up in the court system for drug related crimes, instead of punishing them to no avail with time in jail and other penalties. It has proven more successful to tackle the problem of addiction directly, than to enforce such penalties. The majority of individuals who do not wind up in drug treatment will often wind back up in the criminal justice system, whilst criminal justice clients in drug treatment often don't fall back into drug use and have a much better chance at remaining abstinent and out of the court system completely.
