Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug rehab program which works to treat drug addiction issues and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in treatment partakes in various treatment services and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug or alcohol addicted men and women in Nassau Bay who may not be able to pay for long-term inpatient care, or for those who are not able to be apart from their households for extended periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in traditional treatment services for addiction problems while at the same time dealing with psychological disorders which may deter them from staying sober after rehabilitation is complete.
